Meeting Minutes for 05/03/2005 at the V.C. Highlands Fire Station
Called the meeting to order at 7:35 P.M.
Members present: Stephen Musser, Cindy Rogers and Sherry McCready
Members absent: Wally Corey and Bill Redman - Susie Deller has asked to withdraw herself from the Committee commitment.
2. It was brought to our attention from Stephen Musser that Loren Chilson has withdrawn his plans to build a home at 21395 Saddleback. This home was previously approved on 04/05/2005 as New Business #13.
3. Motion made to approve 04/05/2005 minutes by Stephen Musser and seconded by Sherry McCready. Unanimous.
Gary Hames - Community Center/Outbuilding located at Lot 2, Block E also known as the VCH Fire Station.
36’ x 80’ building to match the Fire Stations existing roof and siding. This was approved by the board at a 4/12/2005 meeting. No fee was collected as this is the V.C. Highlands Property Owners Assoc. new community building.
Susi Churches - Replacement of an existing roof located at Lot 54, Block G also known as 2261 Enterprise Road.
New roof will have a pitch whereas the old roof was damaged and flat. New roof will be the same as the existing roof on the home. Plans approved.

Rebecca Fielding, representing Joseph & Lorene Soares (Soares’ are present)
New 2600 s.f., Colonial/Ranch style residence to be located at Lot 45, Block U also known as 21340 Graves. Residence shall have one patio that is > 240 s.f. and one deck that is < 240 s.f. Home will have shiplap siding with wood texture in Canyon View (tan) with both Ranch Acres (cream) and Hickory Grove (dark brown) as trim colors - the roof will be composition shingle in Driftwood (brown). Plans approved.

Loren & Sue Purcel - New 348 s.f. sunroom/atrium addition located at Lot 11AI, Block G also known as 2366 Lousetown Road.
Addition is within the original footprint of the homes original foundation. Addition will have cedar ship lap for siding and glass, roof will be black composition shingle to match the existing home. Plans approved.

William Bohnacker - New 2134 s.f., ranch style, 3 car, 2 story garage located at Lot 1, Block A also known as 21325 Delta Drive.
Second floor of garage will be finished as a game room/playroom - not to be in-law quarters (no kitchen). Siding will be board & bat in Desert Sand (beige). Roof will be brown composition shingle. Plans approved.

Lorrie Winkler - New 2127, ranch style residence to be located at Lot 72, block K also known as 2307 Cartwright Road.
Home will have one 156 +/- s.f front porch and one 360 +/- s.f. rear deck. Siding will be ship lap in natural wood - will not be painted. Roof will be brown composition shingle. Plans approved.

Jan Link, representing Damian & Moureen Ross (Ross’ not present) - New 2200 s.f., ranch style new residence located at Lot 88, block M also known as 1811 Harte Road.
Home will have one 160 +/- s.f. front porch and one 80 +/- s.f. back deck. Siding will be vertical groove in Chatham Tan and trim to be in Truffle (cream). Roof will be brown composition shingle. Home also will have stone veneer pillars in the front. Plans approved.
Collected $130.00, check # 2000 for $100.00 and $30.00 in cash.
Jan Link, representing Janet Fisher (not present) - New 2066 s.f., ranch-colonial style new residence located at Lot 141, Block M also known
as 2000 Morgan.
Home will have one 76 +/- s.f. front porch and one 96 +/- s.f. back deck. Siding will be vertical groove in Mocha Accent (greenish brown) with the trim in Wheat Bread (tan) and some stone veneer accents. Roof will be dark brown composition shingle. Plans approved.

Jon Bakkedahl - New 2640 s.f. log home located at Lot 264, Block M also known as 2185 Hermit Road.
Logs are 9” cedar scope and are to remain natural in appearance. Home will have one 128 +/- s.f porch on the second floor. Roof will be metal and gray in color. Plans approved.
Collected $120.00, check # 1472.
John King - New 3570 s.f. farmhouse style residence located at Lot 200, Block M also known as 21575 Stallion.
Home will have T1-11 siding stained to be cedar in color, wood trim will be stained dark oak and rock/stone trim will remain natural. Roof will be brown composition shingle. Home will have 240+ s.f. back deck. Plans approved.
Collected $130.00, check # 2157.
Joe Alt - New residence on Lot 1, Block G also known as 1311 Bonanza.
Mr. Alt did not remain at meeting to sign application nor furnish architectural fee so request was denied. Stephen Musser to return plans to Mr. Alt.
Total collected: $1015.00 for one re-roof, one garage, one addition and six new residences (with & without decks).
