A. Review plans in order of sign-in:
1.
Rich and Vicki Leverent presented plans
for a shed to be placed on Lot 10, Block H, 2485 Cartwright. The shed will be
10’ X 16’ and will match the house with T111 siding and a slate gray roof.
They requested that the shed be placed within 7 feet of the side yard. They
were informed that the shed must meet the side yard setback of 15 feet or a
variance would be required from Storey County. The plans were approved. No
fee was charged.
2.
Loren Wilder presented plans for an 8’ X
24’ storage building on Lot 56, Block I, 21590 Dortort. The siding will be
T111, cedar in color with a brown roof to match the existing residence. The
building will sit on piers, not a permanent foundation. The plan was approved
and no fee charged. Mr. Wilder was advised to consult with the Building
Department as to whether a building permit would be required for this type
building.
3.
Mary Hoover and Louis Jackson presented
plans for a 24’ X 26’ addition to the existing residence on Lot 12, Block I,
21570 Dortort. The addition will match the existing structure in material and
color. The plans were approved and a fee of $75 paid by check number 9872.
4.
Joe Alt presented a revised plot plan for
a garage for Allen Byers and Renee Clark that had been previously approved. A
survey of the property revealed that the previous plan would not meet setback
requirements. The plan was approved and no fee charged.
5.
Kevin Clay applied to repaint the
residence on Lot 1, Block H, 2421 Grizzley road. The colors submitted meet the
architectural guidelines and were approved. No fee was charged.
B. Possible violations of the CC&R’s
A previously filed
complaint regarding a shed on Cartwright Road was reviewed. The shed had been
approved and was found to be in compliance.
No
new violations were brought to the committee’s attention.
IV.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at
8:40 pm.
Respectfully submitted,
Rita Lumos, Member
