Minutes - September 2, 2008

I. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm by Bill Lewis.  Committee members present were Lewis, Bob Moore, and Rita Lumos.

II. A motion by Moore, seconded by Lumos, to approve the minutes of the August 5, 2008 minutes was approved unanimously.

III. New Business

A. Review plans in order of sign-in

1. Patrick Wherland presented plans to install raised planter beds and a garden structure to be covered with welded wire fabric at 1910 Empire Road, Lot 118A, Block M.  The plans were approved; no fee was charged.

2. Olivia Fiamengo requested permission to move corrals and pens from her developed lot to an undeveloped lot at 2474 Lousetown Road, Lot 16, Block D, which she also owns.  She indicated that she will also be clearing the driveway area for the new lot, which falls within the side lot setback.  Her plan was approved; no fee was charged.

Ms. Fiamengo asked whether a manufactured home would be allowed on the undeveloped lot.  She was advised that the committee does not believe that this is allowed under the Architectural Guidelines, but that the board would have to make the final decision.  She asked that the matter be placed on the October board agenda.

B. Possible violations of the CC&R’s

No new violations were brought before the committee.

IV. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 pm.
