II. Since there were no applicants at the March meeting, no minutes were prepared.
III. New Business
A. Plans were reviewed in the order of appearance:
1. Danny Thompson presented plans for the extension of the deck at 21451 Crestview, Lot 20, Block U. The deck will be Trex material or similar, and match the existing. The plans were approved and a fee of $30.00 paid by check number 253.
2. Realtor Donna Furlow stated that she has had many questions about a lot for sale at 2271 Empire Road. Many people have asked if they can expand the existing shop building for storage, etc., on the property without building a residence there. There is not a house on the lot currently. She was informed that there is no prohibition in the governing documents, except that a buyer may not live in the building and no commercial activity is allowed.
3. Shiloah and Jennifer Harding presented plans and an application for a new residence at 21590 Sazarac road, Lot 38, Block K. The building will be 2976 sq. ft. and have natural cedar siding and a composition roof. The color of the roof will be “Weathered Wood”. The trim will be brick red. The plans were approved and a fee of $500 paid by check number 491.
Mr. Harding indicated that he might live on the property in a yurt rather than an RV during the summer while working on constructing the house. He will follow all the same requirements as one who utilized an RV for temporary housing.
IV. Since there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 pm.
