II. New Business
A. Plans were reviewed in the order of appearance:
1. Two residents of Palomino road presented letters of objection to the plans approved at the August meeting for the Gysen residence between their two properties. One resident was concerned about losing his view and the other was concerned that the driveway crosses the portion of the road easement on his land. The driveway is entirely within the road easement. They were also concerned that the residence would violate the front setback easement. They were assured that the plans did not indicate this to be true and that the county building inspector would be watching to insure that the setbacks were maintained. Storey County Building Department has reviewed the plans and agrees that they are in conformance with regulations and ordinances. The property owner is aware that if the cul-de-sac in that area is ever fully developed the portion of the driveway within the easement may need to be removed or reconstructed. The letters will be forwarded to the board of directors for their consideration.
2. Jennifer Harding presented revised plans for a residence previously approved at 21590 Sazarac Road, Block K, Lots 38 & 39. The residence will now be constructed in two phases. Only phase one was presented for approval. It was in conformance with the governing documents and approved. Since these are revised plans no fee was applicable.
III. Since there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:30 pm.
