VIRGINIA CITY HIGHLANDS PROPERTY OWNERS' ASSOCIATION MINUTES: MONTHLY MEETING, April 14, 2015

FIRE STATION 2 TRAINING ROOM MINUTES

Present: Jay Carmona, Judy Cziparin, Karlyn McPartlin, Joe O'Brien

Absent: None

 

1.   Call to Order, Declaration of a Quorum and Approval of Meeting Agenda The meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm and a quorum was declared present

 

2.   Approve Minutes of 2015 Meeting

A motion by Cziparin was made to accept the February minutes. Passed

 

3.   Review of the Financial Statements

Cziparin presented the financial statements. Motion by O'Brien to accept Motion passed,  New bookkeeper Lorene DiVito was introduced to the members. She was thanked by the board for accepting the position.

The final draft of the Reserve study was presented.  Motion by O'Brien to accept.  Motion passed.

5.     Committee Reports

A.     Architectural Committee Report

A request to change an exterior, add a garage, a remodel and a variance were brought to Architectural Committee at the March and April meetings.  All requests were accepted. A motion to accept   Jay Carmona as the board representative on the committee was

made

by Cziparin. Motion passed.

 

B.     Road Report

Road base is being applied to some of the roads.  More will be done as funds allow.  Summer work continues

 

C.   Park and Highlands Community Fund

McPartlin reported that the County Commissioners have settled on a final number for the Highlands Park Fund of $78,000.  This money is to be used for capital improvements in the park

The schedule of Fines was presented.  Motion to adopt the schedule was made by O'Brien.  Motion to accept passed.
