Virginia City Highlands Property Owner’s Association
Monthly Meeting Minutes
June 14, 2005

PRESENT: Beckerman and Bent.
Thomas and Musser were absent.
Armour resigned effective June 8, 2005.

1.  CALL TO ORDER AND APPROVE MEETING AGENDA
    There being no quorum being present, Beckerman stated that no business 
    would take place. She introduced the new architectural committee 
    secretary, Sherry McCready. Beckerman then took comments from the members 
    in attendance.

2.  COMMENTS BY ASSOCIATION MEMBERS & DISCUSSION   
    Several members in attendance questioned the proposed changes in the new 
    governing documents and the vote tabulation methods. It was explained 
    that an auditable record of votes were needed and that the spreadsheet 
    was not available to the general public.
    A member asked for a list of all names and addresses of owners; they were 
    referred to the county assessor’s office.
    A member asked about requirements to be on the board and voiced concerns 
    about non homeowners serving.
    A member wanted to discuss his dues and was told this would not be 
    discussed in public and to check with the bookkeeper after the meeting.
    The question about NRS 116 came up again. A former board member said the 
    association attorney told us we were under NRS 116.
    Members asked about the proposed special assessment and were told it will 
    be discussed at the annual meeting.
